There’s a moment each day — often just after sunrise or just before sunset — when sunlight feels like a gentle touch: warm, soft, and alive. The Touch of Sun began with that feeling — not as a dramatic spectacle, but as something quiet, familiar, and deeply present.

When I painted this piece, I was drawn to how light can feel like a memory: not just something you see, but something you remember feeling. The palette is warm, but not bright — colors that suggest warmth without intensity, like sunlight filtered through curtains or dust in the air.
