This painting was inspired by the simplicity of wild grasses and the soft colours of a summer field.

I wanted to create something light and natural, with enough detail to make the painting interesting up close, but still calm enough to live easily in an interior. The warm beige and sandy tones are balanced with soft white leaves and delicate grasses, creating a feeling of lightness and warmth.

There is no particular landscape or place behind the painting. It is more about a feeling — a quiet field, warm air and the soft movement of grass in the wind.
