Loving began with a simple thought: what does warmth feel like when there are no words?

This painting isn’t about a specific story or scene — it’s about the feeling of being present and seen. When I painted Loving, I was thinking about how certain moments in life don’t need loud colours or dramatic gestures to be powerful. Sometimes it’s the quiet connections — a look, a pause, the gentle way light touches a surface — that stay with you longest. That kind of warmth doesn’t shout; it simply feels like home.

In an interior, this work adds a sense of comfort and calm presence.
